November 14, 2020 - Relatively large number of TNs for a White Rose, though I note not one since 2015. Yet again, I find myself drinking wines long after the majority are done. Am I holding them too long? I was listening to Pierre Duroche saying he drinks his village Gevrey-Chambertin after 5 - 10 years. Is this WR a "village" equivalent? It sounds a pejorative appellation but it is not. Anyway, Dulcie and I agree that this is delicious - and not a hint of aging. I was concerned a bit about apparent leakage around the cork. The color was a little more pale than many but pale is often good. Think Volnay. I am yet to be disappointed by holding a WR too long.

January 14, 2015 - Lively nose of fruit, floral perfume and stems. On the palate, medium bodied with nice balance of fruit and acidity. A resinous impression at the mid-palate extends to add length to the finish. Drinking well now. Probably enough structure and balance to improve over the next couple of years.

October 23, 2013 - Light to medium bodied... very floral nose right upon opening up, with zesty acidity to keep things fresh. Drinking well now.

August 23, 2013 - I can appreciate the very high quality of this wine, even though its not quite my preferred style of PN. Very cherry and light bodied, with hints of mint on a short finish.
