October 13, 2022 - 96 points. Knock out wine! Bold and spicy with beautifully rounded edges. At Deckmans in Ensenada for T&As wedding. Enjoyed with a 2014 and this won the night.

August 9, 2021 - Big, bold, dark, spicy Syrah. Ripe but not overripe. Nice acidity and a lasting finish. Drinking very well but no big hurry. Outstanding

January 13, 2021 - Checking in at the decade mark and find this wine still going strong. Tannins have fully resolved leaving this silky smooth with a nice acid backbone that keeps it really fresh at this age. All the fruit is holding nicely and can see this going another 10 years perhaps. Congrats to Jordan Fiorentini and the Epoch team for another long lived wine.

January 13, 2019 - Same TNs as last year.

August 31, 2018 - Les Deux 2018 (Chez Gill): Third wine second flight. Again, big oak and fruit bomb. Couldn't even tell this was syrah, just a soupy mess. Fortunately, I had the 2011 Rhys nearby to reset my palate.
