February 2, 2018 - Decanted for one hour. Subtle nose of red fruit. Full bodied, smooth and supple with discreet red toned fruit, firm acidity, decent dusty bite and a hint of oak and chocolate on the finish. Overall very balanced and delicious. In a good spot but can still hold for many years.

October 20, 2017 - Dark in color, ruby red. Aroma of cherry, tobacco and slight hints of vanilla bean. After some intense swirling, blackberry also appeared on the nose. On the palate, the wine was weighty, full bodied and still had strong tannins and structure. It was a fruity wine with great flavor that coated your entire mouth and left a long dry finish. If you like a dry robust wine, this is it. This wine could continue to develop for years to come.

January 2, 2017 - Solid! Amarone, produced by a small family business in traditional handicraft, is classy and good. But not outstanding. Clear vanilla in the aroma, well integrated wood, probably no barrique. In the taste comes the wine with a lot of start and full aromas, violets, cherries and raspberries. A lively fruit acid. Everything dry, very clearly separated and clearly accentuated. No jam, no force in bags, but more the fine wine with clean aromas. Very good food, to the cozy TV perhaps too demanding. Drink now and still something durable.

Solide!
