Community Tasting Notes 2

November 23, 2011 - Not a bad wine for it's age. Barely showing any signs of age in the color - bright yellow.
Nose hints to a sweet wine - yellow apples, honey and vanilla with light roast almond butter.
The palate, however, shows that sweeter riper attack, but then more of an acidic drier style of finish. A real nice wine. Some slight funkyness on the back end that was only a slight turnoff.

January 19, 1998 - Very good intensity for an American Gewurtz. Nice oily texture, good floral, spicy aroma. An acquired taste.
