January 28, 2024 - Poised on the cliff, drink now! (My last of 6 bought on release)
Just holding its dark cherry color while bricked throughout to a watery rim.
Pretty nose: layered plum, leather, eucalyptus, sagebrush, green tobacco, green pepper, mesquite embers
The fruit is past its prime on the palate but still holding up. Plum, apple butter, pot roast vegetables (celery, carrots, rutabaga) with white pepper on the finish.
The first 5 bottles did not disappoint and am glad to have hung on to this one to see the end of its maturation. -

April 1, 2023 - light red to dark red. Nose opened immediately. Clean (no bret or oxidation). complex nose of dark fruit, spice, smoke with iron on the palate. Mid-palate was solid but lack some concentration and roundness. Medium length finish. Overall drinking very well and probably near its peak.

June 23, 2022 - Disagree with recent notes here. This is a classic aged Côte Rôtti in a good drinking phase. Surprisingly youthful. Aeromatics are moderate but on the palate and finish it delivers. Especially the finish. Belle
