August 20, 2013 - Have wanted to like Steven Kent wines, but in the end I can only describe them as "fair."

January 7, 2013 - Good wine with rasberry fruit, crisp acidity and a touch of smokey tones (from petite syrah). Not complex but enough to keep me drinking. Pizza or tomato sauce dinner.

    January 1, 2013 - From PA Wine:

"A longtime fan of the complex aromas and flavors of Petite Sirah and Syrah, we created this blend exclusively for the State of Pennsylvania to showcase the bounty of the Livermore Valley and Arroyo Seco appellations and the pure hedonistic deliciousness of these two grapes. This wine is full of the purple berry and graphite notes which are supported by the structural framework of Petite Sirah while also showing the rich fruit, white pepper, and roasted game attributes of Syrah. This young wine is perfect for the richer foods of Fall and Winter and will also benefit by 12 months of bottle age. Enjoy our 2010 Winemaker's Selection with grilled lamb, steaks, and all manner of pasta dishes."
