December 24, 2023 - AP 5 06 – Light yellow colour, more than eighteen years in the bottle neither visible in the glass nor noticeable on the still very fresh, breezy nose: classic Mosel Riesling, lemon, peach. Feather light on the palate, barely noticeable sweetness, high acidity, and a very slightly bitter finish. Great wine that goes well with spicy mains and tart deserts.

August 6, 2023 - (Chens@UbinSeafood) Some lemon golden intensity in glass, lifted talc, white citrus florals, certainly some development (hessian, beeswax) and otherwise very clean inviting nose. Layered, tight acidity balanced finely with tinge of sweetness. Translucent, layered, structured, elegant, finishing long on a waxy slatey mineral finish. In a great place, absolutely enjoyable with great finesse and youthfulness (for its age). Worked excellently with sambal petai fish eggs, orhchien and curry fishhead.

July 15, 2023 - AP 20 05. Fifth bottle from a case of halves purchased privately in 2009. Pristine condition. Youthful appearance, especially for age; discreetly aromatic nose, complex and harmonious, fresh and floral, no noticeable reduction anymore, citrus and apple, pear, smoky slate, cassis leaf, hint of white peach, waxy bottle-age and some green herbs; delicately sweet palate, light (7% ABV) and elegant, lovely freshness and zesty tension; relatively dry finish, gentle bitters, very good length. On its plateau of maturity, will last another five (in half bottles) to ten years.
