September 6, 2021 - Same experience as in a previous note. Thanks was first disappointed that wine appeared short and lacking fruit, as if all lively elements had gone and the remaining earthy tones and tannins weren’t enough to still carry the wine. When I had a third glass later on, it appeared much fuller and very pleasant to drink, but I wasn’t sure whether it was just the wine or also me… given the good experiences with Seppelt, I give it to the wine. In any case I wouldn’t wait much longer to drink it, but I would open the bottle more in advance…

August 27, 2020 - A bit short and lacking complexity (initially) - but then I discovered a rich and interesting palette

September 8, 2019 - I quite liked this. Deep purple colour medium bodied wine. Heavy pepper and spice on the nose with overtones of capsicum. Some sharp cherry and citrus adequately adequately balanced by oak. A bit empty in the mid palate. Medium length finish of spice and tangerine.

September 1, 2019 - This wine is good to drink now, laden with dark fruit, hints of sweet spice, and the presence of alcohol gives it a bit of oomph at the finish. Worth the wait? absolutely.

May 11, 2019 - Still in good shape. Vibrant fruit and structure. Shouldn't improve a lot in years to come, but also no signs of impending tiredness either.
