November 29, 2015 - Dark ruby red color, nose of fruit and red berry. Taste of darker red fruit; plums & cherries with spicy pepper. Slightly astringent and pleasant lingering after taste.
Seems like 2010 was a particularly good year for this wine. Relatively high alcohol content (15.8%) is not apparent in the flavor or detract from the enjoyment experience.
Have always enjoyed this Zinfandel in the past. A well-crafted California wine consistently good. Good with food or by itself. -

October 10, 2014 - Great either with or without food. Found the tastes to be with some cedar, and wonderfully smooth.
