June 13, 2016 - Maybe I had an off bottle but this is not very good. Did not feel it was flawed/corked just was not very good. Could not even drink this, down the drain it went.

June 10, 2015 - A lot going on in this wine. On the nose, a heavy graphite and almost minty smell. Tastes like fading black fruit giving way to a finish of graphite and dirt. Still a pleasant surprise at this price point for a bottle I did not have to turn over the shelves to find. Certainly not a rebuy, and I suspect this wine is finished improving in the bottle.

May 31, 2015 - Deep and dark in color, producing thick and slow moving legs. Notes of black fruit and graphite. Drinkable now but can definitely hold for a few more years.

April 25, 2015 - nose of laundry detergent, some cherry, and summer fresh. Taste: dusty, smooth, medium body, dry, cherry raspberry, and the tannin is smooth. Nutty paste finish that lingers and slowly fades. The finish is good. This wine is very smooth and has quite an unexpected good structure. The flavor profile is dominated by how well the texture of this wine is. It needs to be aired. The price point is very good...I was expecting a huge disappointment due to the hype, price and the initial nose. Damn.
