February 28, 2021 - With 6-8hrs bottle aeration. It is good to drink now. Dried violet, sour cherry, leathery, restrained oak, signature earthy and mushroomy tastes. Fine and long. Elegant and fresh even for the warm 2006 vintage thanks to its altitude and exposure.⠀

Vineyard: 400m altitude, SW exposure. Maturation: Use of 500L French Oak and 15-25HI Slavonian oak barrels. ⠀ -

February 1, 2021 - Decanted & aired for four hours prior to enjoying. Initially lots of funk & earth on the nose that faded after the long four hour decant. Blackberry, tobacco & spice flavors. Nice, but never really got there for me after the six hours in the decanter.

September 6, 2019 - This wine is in its prime window so drink now. Decanted for 3 hours and was blown away by the complexity and superb finish.
