June 14, 2015 - 2015 CELLAR REDUCTION. Another bargain Bordeaux that just laid there. Not offensive but the fruit was hard to find. Maybe just an off vintage

November 21, 2013 - (13%) 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc - Ripe, rich fruit. Full bodied yet bright and lively with earthy, barnyard elements lurking in the background before leading to a (currant) spiced short, but pleasant, finish showing soft tannins. Packs a lot of favor for the price ($8) and package (13%abv). Would buy again.
Wine Geek Notes: A K&L direct import, average vine age of 15 years.
