July 10, 2014 - Ripe red and black fruit and burnt rubber on the nose. Macerated black cherry with an anise note predominant. Very secondary for such a young wine.

June 29, 2013 - Interesting wine. My uncle was a trucker and the aroma reminds me somewhat of being a little kid under one of the trailers parked in his yard. The pivot where the trailer attaches to the truck was heavily greased and smelled like a mix of that and metal ground on metal. Add to that a touch of dead animal and fruit and you've got the nose of this wine. Decidedly funky and not for everyone.

March 5, 2013 - Light red to brown and slightly cloudy. 90% earth and 10% light red fruit. Bland and thin. I am hopeless when it comes to understanding or appreciating these wines.
