January 12, 2013 - Very harsh at the pop, undrinkable. Came back to it an hour later to find it still quite assertive but mellowed enough to enjoy. Blueberry, cola, barnyard funk. Needs big food alongside. More of a Cote du Rhone Villages wine than an appellation dandy, nonetheless this is a nice companion for grilled steak, veal, lamb etc
