March 16, 2014 - Surprisingly silky pinot without the sharp tobacco, earthy flavors that distract. I will try again

March 17, 2013 - A mix of earth and oak on the nose. Palate shows some oak influence too. Fruit profile is fairly dark by Pinot standards and some sweet spice develops with time in glass. Concentrated and powerful in style a la Central Otago. But lacks the appealing freshness of the cheaper (unoaked) Zorzal Pinot and doesn't quite hit the heights of the best Patagonian examples.
