Community Tasting Notes 1

May 3, 2020 - Nose of blackberry, cherry, brush and forest floor. It initially tasted quite rustic: a jumble of blackberry, prune, leather, and black licorice. Given a day, it began to shine: a juicy mix of sweet cherry, plum, red licorice, cinnamon and black pepper. Unfortunately, a faint hint of prune left me thinking it's almost past peak. Recommendation: open up and let it sit for a day.
