November 14, 2021 - Quite elegant and not a trace any pyrazine.

    April 23, 2021 - Rating: 89 very good

This wine was a garnet hue in the glass, a lovely floral nose, dark and earthy fruits and a long finish. Drink this with some lamb and it elevates it to a 90 or 91.

May 6, 2019 - New Zealand micro trip; 5/6/2019-5/9/2019 (North Island, New Zealand): Red berry; strawberry over red currant with bramble and coffee underpin, a little cedar and Asian five spice joins on the nose. In the mouth it's very slightly sour and has medicinal herbs muted wet, wild brambles and strawberries. The tannins creep up and encroach a little on the finish closing down the mid palate and there is a tiny stalky note. Complex but hmm for me.

October 30, 2018 - Exceptionally clear in the glass. Relatively dark for pinot with thick legs but showing some aging already as it was slightly garnet at the edges. There are strawberries, spice and lots of white pepper. Initially a little unbalanced out the bottle, but transforms with 15 minutes so it then becomes settled and balanced. Has the classic gevrey "grip" and at the start of its drinking window. Drink now to 2030+
