November 24, 2015 - Deep purple color, opaque with a half inch pour. Enters the mouth softly at first, followed by ample black fruits of plum and cherry, with firm and drying tannins. Aged a year in French oak and the grapes are grown in vineyards 1,500 to 1,600 feet high. Merits inclusion in any tasting of Nero d'Avola for its flawless polish, smoothness, brightness, and balance.

April 8, 2014 - quite reduced. some wild cherry, wild herbs, brush, aromas. Dusty, spicy, tart cherries on the palate. Pricey for what it is.
