December 12, 2021 - From magnum, opened an hour, perfect cork and level - dark, quite dense, ruby, little rim development; cherry, mineral, some cola, nice hint of spice; medium bodied, slightly angular and hollow in mid palate, sense of not yet having hit its stride so some upside and no rush. VG+ (16.5).....ps another magnum the following night showed couple of points better.

September 26, 2018 - Disappointed in the hundred dollar tag (although I see others paid a bit less on release). Concentrated with plenty of dark fruit. But a bit overly ripe and had a little heat... and too rounded/fruit forward to be interesting to me . Wonder if its merely young or the style of the wine is just not my speed.

October 11, 2017 - Lots of fruit and class, still a bit rough around the edges and with room to grow.

August 1, 2017 - At first not much fruit on the nose, quite dark, earthy, smoky, notes of coffee. With time in the glass and some air more and more fruit notes emerged, again rather dark, quite concentrated and dense. Good fruit on the palate, firm tannins, good ripeness, great acidity. Quite persistent. Still rather tight and reserved, this should improve with more time in bottle, but is very promising. 92-93+
