September 6, 2014 - This wine didn't do anything for me nor for any of the people at our wine tasting last night. 8 folks total and this was the least liked of 6 decent reds. Seemed a bit too oaked and lacked vitality to me. I like Sangiovese/Chianti with a bit more acidity. Seemed like it was trying to be something else. Probably just me, though...

June 22, 2014 - My wife is not usually a Chianti drinker and was drinking a 2005 Barolo. I got her to taste this and she switched immediately. We both loved it. This is a good one.

April 5, 2014 - The wine looks violet colored. The legs are medium. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like strawberry, red currant, prune and verbena. It tastes like gooseberry, red currant, plum and vanilla. The body is medium. The wine has smooth texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has low acidity.
