August 26, 2022 - Past its prime. Nowhere near as good as prior bottles. Sad that I waited this long and missed a good opportunity. Thank goodness I got passed over for the recent K&L library release from this vineyard as these are nowhere near as good as when younger.

April 20, 2022 - Dark ruby colored, starting to take on a slight bit of discoloration at a dozen years of age, medium bodied, the complex flavors of plum, dark cherry and dried rose petals are showing slight diminution of the fruit from aging, turning to a textured tangy acidic firm tannin laced lingering finish.

April 2, 2022 - W roast chicken in Pelham. Good but lost its luster, color was oldish and not fresh. On palate good fruit and we had decent length. Hood overall but drink up.

January 23, 2022 - Took a short while to open up and then drank very nicely. Opened with Coravin. Still good on third day.

September 20, 2021 - First Calera pinot I have tried. Quite enjoyed it. Nose of cherry, earth, and dried cranberries. Rich and meaty but not a full bodied wine. Herbs and red fruit on the palate with a very nice, long finish. Paired perfectly with jagerschnitzel and spatzle.
