September 8, 2018 - I have a hard time with wines like this. I see "Cabernet" and "Napa" on the label and instinctively think it should age until ten years from the vintage (even though I know better). This is a decent wine, but I'm pretty sure it hit its peak in 2015 or 2016. Rather generic cabernet, with a medium+ body and a decent finish.

July 29, 2017 - Started drinking after only about 20 minutes of air. Mostly plums on the assertive nose. Black cherries - and not much else - on the palate. Surprisingly big and rich on the palate, with an above-average finish. 90 minutes later, it had changed dramatically. Although it developed some tobacco notes, everything was significantly muted. The tannins had practically disappeared, and what remained qualified for a rating of no more than 75 to 80. At this point, it's definitely not a wine to revisit on day 2 or 3. Since it seemingly collapsed after 90 to 120 minutes of air, I'm guessing that its remaining life expectancy should be measured in months, not years.
