December 15, 2020 - Wimpish Christmas (La Trompette): Both Mark's wines and the 2011 vintage have a reputation for being towards the lightweight end of the spectrum, but that description certainly didn't suit this example, and it also came across as completely ready. Temptingly gamey on the nose, deep and rich, a touch of wood but all in balance. Very good.

June 7, 2018 - Last bt, garnet in color. Nose of red fruits, hawthorn and spice. Oak spice on palate, sweet fruits as noted in nose. Medium concentration, more like a 2007 kind of GC that is easily accessible. A rising star worth following.

December 13, 2016 - Pnp, deep ruby with nose of starwberry and some dark fruits, I like the nose a lot. Medium concentration on palate, the wine is smooth, plenty of fruits and spice, sufficient tannin for the wine to maintain posture, lightly mineral from mid palate, beginning to evolve and really enticing.

September 20, 2016 - Pnp, ruby in color, spicy nose of hawthorn, red fruits and bit smoky oak. Sweet on palate, more oak upfront but lacks tannin and extract to balance the wood. Not complex but a pleasant to drink in early autumn afternoon.
