January 13, 2016 - Second bottle in a row on the decline. I have really enjoyed this Bourgogne and think Morey delivered a great product for the value in the 2011. Have two more and will consume them this year no doubt.

November 20, 2015 - For the QPR so good.

March 22, 2015 - Light yellow color. This drinks beautifully right out of the gate. Toasty oak frames the bright citrus and yellow fruits. Hints of smokiness, toffee nuances and laser-like acidity complete the package. Very well balanced, and fully woven at this point, I wish I had more. Good for another few years, but I wouldn't wait - this is delicious now with its shining crisp detail and nothing to gain.

February 15, 2014 - Brilliant pale white gold robe, definite wet wool and white peaches on the nose with obvious oakiness. The flavour is quite full-bodied and rich, with lemon, ripe peaches and that great combination of fatness, precise acidity and minerality so specific to the Montrachet appellation. Sold as a basic Bourgogne Blanc, this is a fantastic value declassified Chassagne-Montrachet which performed at village level in a blind tasting. It does need another year or two to settle down, but I doubt I'll be able to resist that long. When tasted against a 2001 premier Cru C-M, the differences in intensity and age were obvious, but Thomas Morey's effort held its own.

February 11, 2014 - Basic Bourgogne blanc, good for its class and well made in a style I can appreciate. Bright, focused, good detail. Minimal oak, nice varietal character in an elegant style. An antidote to more ponderous oaky chards, I'd easily rebuy this.
