  February 26, 2023 - Opened 2 hrs
  Ripe cherry with nice mid aged Bordeaux. Some very fruit driven mushrooms, violets, butter, roast beef, old leather, beautiful cherry component. Slight hint of tar. After hour 4 starting to come undone slightly. Maybe just past peak. Weight medium plus, acid medium. Great Howell Mountain characteristics. Delicious wine, but seems to be at the point where it needs to be drunk.

  November 5, 2022 - This was absolutely outstanding. My lone bottle and made me wish I had purchased more. A little more sediment than I might have preferred was the lone critique. Special bottle of juice with typical Howell Mountain nose. Smooth on the plate with black and red fruit profile. Exceptional.

  January 5, 2022 - Nose of black berry, raspberry, mocha, and cola, same on the palate, tasty, big boy, mouth filling fruit, a $44 auction bottle so great QPR, and a long finish, photo uploaded.

  March 11, 2021 - Decanted for 2 hours.
  Very nice wine. Notes are similar to my last bottle. I am a big fan of this wine at the price point I got it ($70).
