January 8, 2024 - had a good amount of funk going on initially; It blew off after 20-30 minutes in the decanter; There was some dried red fruit lingering, but not much; sone interesting tertiary flavors developing , which included a little mushroom, earthiness, and dried rosemary. My friend thought it may have been a little closed and meeds more time. for a 13 year old 1er cru I would want more fruit, but I do not think there will be any on 4-5 years. But still became an interesting wine.

November 26, 2022 - Intense, ripe style. Holds up well to the Thanksgiving feast. Nose lacked complexity. Didn't see a lot of development here to merit aging, though it's certainly fine and healthy at 11 years.

January 31, 2021 - Decanted for 1hr. Shared with dad. Paired with chateaubriand. In the glass: light bricking, clear, little to no sediment. On the nose: a surprising amount of tertiary and cellar funk. First taste: cranberry juice dominant. Second sip revealed cellar wall funk and red fruits. Overall this was a delicious example of a (surprisingly) aged burgundy, which has held up its acidity and fruit nicely, with tannins taking a backseat to the secondary characteristics.

May 2, 2020 - Still incredibly firm even after 2 hours in decanter. Must put case at the back of the cella for 2-3 years

August 11, 2019 - 1st of 12 bought on release. Some complexity on the nose and in the mouth, reasonably big in body but overall feeling is still very tight and solid, despite 2 hours in decanter. Will wait a year or two before next one.
