October 17, 2018 - Burgundy violet with separation on the edges. Nose light nail polish, anise and dark fruits. Palate smooth, strawberries and blackberries, plummy fleshy fruit, lightly herbal edge, clean finish. Enjoyable if not profound. 90 pts

April 11, 2018 - Berserker day purchase. Notice the artful correction of the vintage year in the label photo. 60% Zinfandel, 40% Syrah, aged in neutral French oak, per back label. Dark inky purple color. Nose peppery, black fruited, light herbal spice. Palate meaty, juicy raspberries and blackberries with hint of tartness, good acidity. Not a bad QPR, good with a stew

May 5, 2017 - Still young and primary, tastes like it was bottled last month. It could age for years. Black fruits, blood, pepper, oak spice. After an hour of air it expresses a lovely floral perfume.
