  September 16, 2022 - In the decanter, fair amount of bricking already, but a deep dark viscous ink well pour, floral notes filled the nose in the decanter.
  
  First sips at 45 mins, but this need more air, red and black fruit, a hot black pepper finish at this early stage.
  
  Tried again at 1.5 hr and again at 2.5 hr, but little improvement, remained hot with cedar seemingly locking down the boozy red and black berry fruit.
  
  This is my favorite of the Arietta stable, but this bottle was sub par at best.

  April 4, 2022 - Needs a 1 hr decant. On PnP, you could tell this was quality juice, but it was muted, on the nose and the palate. By the time it blossomed at 1 hr, we were nearly done, and it was a really lovely transformation. No score due to user error.

  September 26, 2017 - This is a gold standard wine for the Coombsville AVA in an amazing vintage. Best wine I've had from Arietta and best wine I've had from Coombsville. This could be a 100 pointer. The tannins are well integrated in this perfectly balanced Cab with amazing aromas and flavors. 2 more bottles of this baby to
  hold onto and see how she changes over the next decade.
