February 15, 2018 - The wine looks crimson colored. The legs are slow. There is moderate sediment in the bottle. It smells like blackberry and tobacco. It tastes like blackberry, black currant (cassis) and tobacco. The body is full. The wine has satin-like texture. The wine has low acidity.

April 26, 2017 - Decanted one hour. Aged maroon color. Nice nose of red cherry, prune and menthol. Palate has some additional leather notes. Good acidity and well-rounded tannins on medium long finish. I keep seeing that 2008 Cabs are drinking very well now (at all price points), much better than 2007.

January 24, 2016 - Nose of tar and tobacco. Palate was smooth, cherry, earthy on the back of my palate. Medium finish. Great QPR. Originally tasted at the winery and bought one just because. Wish I would have purchased more.
