March 24, 2023 - Drinking great right now. Beautifully balanced but definitely has some ripe Napa fruit. I thought this was a very classy wine. Cheers!

June 22, 2022 - I Coravin’d a glass and let it sit for two hours. I was disappointed. Harsh tannins, high alcohol, over extracted. I thought “does this wine need another five years to relax?” Fast forward a month and I open and decant the remainder of the bottle for another two hours. Amazing difference. Still a powerful, highly extracted Napa cab but this time around the bite was gone and it displayed impeccable balance, depth, dark fruits, minerals and a long finish. The Lewis family has recently sold the winery and vineyards but hopefully the tradition of quality winemaking will continue.

April 21, 2022 - This 12 years old is delicious. Dark red, round, light aromas, taste of prunes dry figs and others black berries. Balanced acidity and tannins with a long finishing .
