November 4, 2017 - Not oxidised and in remarkable nick for a village wine. Was not expecting this to be in such great condition. It was a delight to drink and if this is a $30 bottle of wine then its even more amazing. Just a lovely velvety soft aged white burgundy. Just the right amount of fruit but oh so mellow. A treat and a bargain!!!

September 27, 2012 - lean and quite acidic, somewhat uninteresting upon opening, flavor, palate and nose development after 2 hours was essential to the development of a lean, bright palate, full of tannins and angular acidity, revelaing a nose of spice cake, dried apricots and tea leaf. No signs of premox Next bottle will try the day after......

February 12, 2011 - Buttery tones on nose with nuts. Seems to be slightly oxidized, but is still alive in mouthfeel. Rich, fat feel with more butter and a mineral tone underneath. Reasonably fresh with some tones of herbs and flowers. A bit heavyset and not quite what to expect from this producer. But, again, this isn't a perfect sample and I've tried a bottle earlier which was well down the road to oxyville...

November 5, 2010 - Bright yellow, green tinge in color. Pretty nose of apple/pear, honeycomb, Capt'n Crunch cereal, green tea w/mint, oak spice. Nice round feel in the mouth, yet spiked up well with a good dose of citrus acidity and spice. Very tasty fruit(green apple/pear/lime), spicy and well structured with minerals and acidity.....complexities of Vietnamese spring rolls, celery stick, crushed limestone, little vanilla oak barrel. Has kind of a harsh acid side to it, which I actually like, as well as some marshmallow vanilla oak which is lifted well by the acidity. I really like this wine...very typical for the Vintage, which is a style I adore. Should age well for awhile.

November 2, 2009 - A fine wine, but the oak is a bit dominating on the nose. Fruit fruit and acidity underneath.
