August 25, 2019 - Light. Paired well with Salmon. Had it open for 3 hours without much change. Tart cranberry. Still has some time to age.

January 24, 2019 - A very interesting wine. Some nice red fruits in the background. Spicy notes on the palate. A long finish. Excellent grip. Glad I held this. Really turned out to be a nice wine. Long finish.

April 18, 2017 - From a hard to find, low yield vintage due to poor fruit set and an influx of bird damage, this 2010 Willakenzie is quite restrained and shy on the palette. The nose reminds me of village level Chambolle Musigny. The wine lacks depth and complexity, but opened up to be quite revealing of the vintage and the terrior. Overall, I'm happy that I held this wine for almost 5 years before consuming it.

February 15, 2017 - Ready to drink. Rich and full mid-palate reflecting the AVA and the vineyard but a delicious savory finish that reflects the cool vintage. A fine American Pinot noir.

February 15, 2016 - Cassis, plum, licorice, hint of strawberry, and baking spices on the nose. Rich mouthfeel. This wine has aged very nicely.
