March 24, 2024 - Beautiful, all what you ask for in an aged Barollo, Truffels, ripe cherry fruit, balsamic vinegar... unfortunately didn't give it enough time, started to really open up after about 40 minutes. Beautiful, give it time.

The bouquet became deep and attractive; a little sweet, with damp forrest floor dried flowers. The palate was softer and far more plump than previous bottles--again crediting the long aeration--with deep cherry, a hint of rosewater, and maturing notes of mushrooms. August 30, 2023 - Medium dark red color. PNP, drank a glass plus over 2 hours. Dusty nose with cherry, pencil, dried earth, and mushroom. The palate shows sour cherry, dried wood, earth, a hint of leather, dusty, firm tannins. Shows off better with an hour of air. 91+ to 92pts.
