Community Tasting Notes 1

February 16, 2013 - Tasted with the '08. Deeper gold than the '08. On the nose, similar notes of lemon, white flowers, but more luxuriant, tending pineapple or honey. On the palate, similar weight, but a little more viscous and round. The acids clearly present, but not as well balanced or focused as in the '08, a little disjointed, tending more pineapple than citric. Still a serviceable everyday chardonnay and food friendly.
