May 8, 2016 - A top example of the quality that can be hit in the Cotes de Bordeaux today. Dark in color, with a nose of espresso, licorice, truffle, smoke, ripe black cherries and cocoa. The wine is full bodied, plush in texture and delivers a boatload of hedonistic pleasure. The wine was made from a blend of 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc.
