November 3, 2023 - Time to drink up on this one I’d say after opening my final bottle last week. The attractive fruit profile that made this so good to drink as young wine seemed diminished from the last couple of bottles two years previously and it doesn’t seem to have enough structure or backbone of acidity for the long haul.
Still good but pretty sure it has passed it’s peak unless it was down to bottle variation.

February 23, 2021 - Lovely premiere cru, with intensity and length.

March 29, 2020 - Proof that you can make good wine in a “poor” vintage. This wine is fairly rich, possesses lively acidity, and takes about an hour to fully unfurl. At eight years of age the tannins have integrated, though the autumnal character of maturity has not yet emerged. Pronounced spice, and impressive depth.

December 26, 2019 - Quick session at ES BK. Tasted blind. Pop and poured. Drank in Gabriel Standart.
Appearance is clear, pale intensity, ruby colour. Legs.
Nose is clean, medium intensity, with aromas of candied red cherries, cranberries, woody spice, emerging earth. Developing.
On the palate, dry, high acidity, medium alcohol (13%), sticky medium tannins, medium body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of candied red cherries, cranberries, sweet woody spices, chalky stones minerality, emerging earth, hints of red floral. Long finish.
Very good quality. Guessed Red Burgundy for sure, somewhere in the range of 2010. Best showing of this bottle so far for me, though it still has another 4 years+ to develop. Good stuff. Has left the difficulties of the 2011 vintage behind now and is starting to blossom.

December 30, 2017 - pale ruby; pretty intense, while body is rather light; raspberry, blackberry, plum, cherry, pepper, nutmeg, grass, forest floor, hint of chocolate, chacuterie; long finish; excellent wine that still can go a few more years
