January 13, 2024 - Gorgeous ruby red color
Perfumed floral nose (violets). Blueberries, red raspberry & currants, dark chocolate covered cheries with a touch of earthy herbal spice on the finish. Getting a touch of blue cheese as it opens up more.
Drinks well rounded and balanced. Tame acidity. Blueberry and red fruit dominate with dark chocolate showing on the dry finish. Picking up a slight raw red meat element the more I consume. -

January 26, 2021 - mint, tobacco, black cherry, cassis, red plum, baking spice, licorice, tobacco, savory herbs, and bitter chocolate.
Relatively smoothed out, missing a bit of intensity and richness i'm usually used to for TK fruit.
Nonetheless good wine in a nice spot, doesn't need much air to get going -

December 30, 2020 - 2010 Realm Cellars Beckstoffer to Kalon Vineyard is outstanding. Full of sweet aromas, fresh, soft, integrated tannins, a wonderful mouth feel, luscious drink, and long finish. Still drinking great.

August 16, 2020 - I think we all individually like different things about wine. Some like hedonistic and some don't. This wine is more towards hedonistic and gets better with every sip. It is smooth with velvety tannins and good balance. Chocolate notes mix perfectly with the fruit. Overall great wine. I popped and poured because I didn't have the option to decant. I would think a 1 or 2 hour decant would be about perfect.

February 24, 2020 - Drank with a steak dinner. Lots of dark fruit, chocolate. Long smooth finish. Excellent pairing. Perfect to drink now
