February 19, 2013 - nose - clean, fresh red fruit
dry, simple, refreshing, some fragrance
V. pinot noir, like a bright simple Burgundy

July 27, 2012 - Sour cherry, baked strawberry and ripe cranberry on the nose with wild animality, slightly medicinal herb notes and chocolate to rubber oak.
Pretty fullbodied but structured at the same time. Tangy red to dark berries with sweetish peachy touch, herbs and charcoal with some smoky oak coming through too strongly. Dry and bitter oaky aftertaste.
I really see myself liking this wine, if it just wasn't as oaked as it is. Maybe an entrecote would set this one straight. So, not my style of Pinot, but still delivering some really nice things. I only hope those things could prevail in this wine. Don't pop open in the next few years - the oak might step aside.
