November 14, 2021 - Seeking Terroir; Comparing village Chambolle and Vosne: Identifiably Vosne, tell-tale spice in the midpalate and reasonably good mouthfeel. Somewhat simple overall--vintage could not have helped.

January 26, 2021 - Surprisingly lush for the vintage with a bit of spice elements. Very easy drinking.

December 19, 2019 - Dark purple-red color; semi-opaque. Faint floral aroma along with dark raspberry. The tastes include dark berries, slight earthiness and a pleasant lingering spiced fruit element. I think it improved after being open for three or four days. I would rate it 89 to 90 points.

April 21, 2019 - Not decanted, two small glasses consumed over ~2 hours. This was quite tart and showed a bit of VA upon opening, and (as with our 11/22/2018 bottle) it released some CO2 when shaken. Eventually, though, this did settle into a decent, if still high-toned bottle - cranberry predominant with hints of tea and spice. Hard to recommend this with the bottle variation we've found, but this one turned out okay.

November 22, 2018 - Not decanted but opened a couple of hours early, shaken vigorously several times with a thumb over the opening to release trapped CO2. This helped the sense of tartness and prickliness I got when tasting early on, but over time this bottle went from nice-but-mute to leaving a flat cardboardiness on my palate: very slight TCA. This makes two out of three bottles so far with (different) low-level faults. Alas.
