July 5, 2023 - Very dark for a Pinot. Oak, dark chocolate, dark fruit. Long finish with fine tannins.

December 6, 2022 - Brought 2 magnums to family Thanksgiving and was really impressed - liked it quite a bit more than the first bottle I'd opened about a year ago.
As it opened up while we worked our way through it, started to pick up some of the classic cherry aroma I expect in California pinots that I couldn't find under the still-very-nice earth/leather I smelled when first poured.
Well-balanced, clean, with a long finish that had nothing distracting/off about it - was a real hit with the crowd at Thanksgiving! -

September 10, 2021 - Flemings Fall Uncorked-Shades of Red Wine (Flemings, Walnut Creek, Ca.): Nose of sweet and sour fruit, red cherry, black cherry, black berry, and allspice, same on the palate, medium/big body, tasty, mouth filling fruit, released 2019, touch simple, drinks well, slightly sweet fruit but not annoying, long finish, my favorite of the 3 Pinot Noirs tonight, photo uploaded.

September 5, 2019 - From a magnum. Thin and well past it’s prime for this opulent extracted style. Some decent yet typical Wagner candied over extraction up front but nothing on the finish.
