May 13, 2017 - Intense sweet berry nose. Velvety palate with ripe berry and coffee fragrance. I love this wine.

December 13, 2015 - Deep ruby with some garnet. The nose is clean, but smoky, with black cherry, red cherry, dark chocolate and espresso. The palate is dry, consistent with the nose, with medium acidity and medium (+) tannins. The alcohol was medium (+). It is full bodied, with medium (+) flavor intensity and a long finish. This wine is made in a traditional style and intended to be consumed with food. Although I like it a lot, it seems "heavier" than others from the Vulture region, without the structure and complexity of those from Taurasi.
