Community Tasting Notes 4

January 13, 2021 - Nez relativement simple, floral avec fruits blancs (poire), Attaque en fraîcheur avec une belle concentration, une finale de bonne longueur, en finesse avec un joli côté salin. On sort des sentiers battus et c’est plaisant. 91 pts

  • dnnk88 Does not like this wine:

November 30, 2019 - Tasted white flowers, tea, creme, butter, petroleum, with a tinge of sea salt. Lots of minerality, without much fruit. Rather linear. Flat on the finish. Not sure if this was suppose to taste like that. Stylistically not for me

February 17, 2019 - Did not show as well as the previous bottle. I can only assume that this is due to bottle variation. I found the nose muted with an oily and slightly tropical palate. Short finish again muted and lacking anything of substance. Well not corked but I think this is just an off bottle given the first one I had was so much better. I have one last one and see how that goes.

April 6, 2016 - Tested blind, bright yellow, fresh and clear, what is this ?, Fragrance and flavor of nuts, marzipan, but it is dry, slightly oily, long long aftertaste, unlike anything I tend to drink, what can this be, white hermitage, this I do not drink often, a fun acquaintance, expensive but very good, perfect for lobster, asparagus, white meat. Good to drink now but can probably be save at least 10 years
