March 5, 2021 - Not the best LTdeM ever, but this has matured really quite well, with the blackcurrant tasting less overripe than before and a fine, dusty finish which gives it a lot more elegance. Still a little tannic so another two or three years will help.

March 23, 2020 - Dark garnet colour. Quite intense on the nose, first some vanilla, then plums, dark berries, earthiness, and beautiful minerals. On the palate, it's fresh, easy drinking, medium+ bodied, with a smooth attack and tannins that get a little firmer toward the finish. Overall, a good wine that seems ready to drink, but can age for at least another 5-7 years. Very little Margaux typicity in my view, but good wine nonetheless, especielly for the price point. Drink with a steak or hearty dish.

July 12, 2019 - Quite good fruit, mostly blackberry and blackcurrant, and quite elegant, but just a little overripe, which makes it a bit on the tarty side. For the same price, Bernadotte is much better IMO. But each to their own - if you like Du Tertre-type Margaux, this is fine and good value.

July 1, 2018 - Aveludado e bem equilibrado. Um pouco terroso. Tipico Medoc. Um pouco fluido. Foi um bom momento para beber pois a acidez estava desaparecendo

August 2, 2017 - Popped and poured 30 mins before dinner. An enjoyable everyday Bordeaux wine -- drank well with a grilled steak. No noticeable flaws.
