November 9, 2022 - Dark ruby, fading at edge. Dark fruits but not giving much away.Something smoked. The others liked this more than I did. Decent acidity.

August 18, 2020 - On the nose, it begins slightly closed with notes of the stable that evolve towards ripe strawberries with essence of thyme. Also with hints of musty earth and black pepper. Nice aromatic complexity after more than ten years. In the mouth it is simpler and more direct but still retains density, acidity and certainly some heat. Ample and full of flavour. At the end one less than worth it. And that cage bought directly from the winery in 2013 is finishing. Just one more bottle for next year.

June 8, 2020 - Six years later and this wine seems to have gone into a darker place. The cherry cola has something of a rasping acidic sharpness on the edge, the fruit is there somewhere. The future? Who knows

July 12, 2019 - After manure odours disappear this stuff smells like ripen strawberries, dark cherries, anthracite and graphite. Pure dark minerality. Also cherry coke. On the palate it is a serious wine with a silky texture, a pungent acidity and a decent length. Better if served slightly chilled. Tons of sediments.

May 31, 2018 - It’s taken some time for this to integrate with the wood and start to be ready to drink, it’s still a little heavy for my palate, but has a little elegance now it’s maturing. Unsure how long this will develop or last but I’d guess there’s a fair bit of time yet, with only 1 more bottle left I should leave for a couple more years at least before saying farewell.
