April 6, 2024 - Nose expressing from the moment of opening, even at 12C. Tobacco-like aromas, which were complemented by red fruits as it breathed and warmed. Just entering its drinking window.
Medium weight complex red/blue fruits, the early tannin dominance receded as it opened. Lovely balance with Nt St G restraint. A classic Chevillon. Chevillon is like it’s found its own commune. A touch of Vosne without the austerity of N St G. They’re always like this, IMO. Very enjoyable.

April 18, 2021 - In a good place right now.
Medium garnet color. Nice nose on open. Flavors had good balance of fruit, tannin and acidity though depth of flavor was limited. Finish was long and at the end there was a bit of “bite” astringent flavor. Is this what people call “stemminess” perhaps due to vintage?

Happy with the purchase but likely won’t seek out more.

July 26, 2020 - With a one hour decant, it's in a good spot now (but better in a few more years). Nice and bright, flavorful, definitely a food wine. Went well with salmon.
