Tastes like a lower end burgundy, however the wine is light and somewhat elegant on the palate -

Medium/deep ruby/garnet core, narrow pale ruby rim. Nose is quite rich but bright too, with attractive pure strawberry fruit, a touch of vanilla. Medium bodied, again quite rich and ripe, strawberry, red cherry - slightly kirschy, soft tannins, quite fleshy but with vibrant acidity carrying a good length still slightly grippy finish. This is very good indeed, drinking well but no hurry. -
