June 26, 2021 - Drinking beautifully. Popped and poured straight from cellar after 90 Vietti Barolo madeirized. This one mature and singing. Orange, cherry, just a hint of tar back palate, with classic Nebbiolo floral notes.

January 3, 2021 - A classically profiled Barbaresco that we enjoyed with roasted lamb and a dark chocolate dessert.

Stood up for a week. Opened two hours before dinner but it did not need a decant. Did not appear to have tons of sediment, so I just did careful pours instead of decanting off sediment.

Nose of sweet tobacco, pencil shavings, butter, anise, and rose. Soft tannins and fairly high acidity but nothing out of balance. Flavors consistent with the nose and had a very long finish.

Don't think this one is past its prime, but it probably doesn't have another decade.

April 10, 2020 - Frangrant pencil shavings. Minty fresh fruity tight dry finish.

January 22, 2019 - NR as no notes and was a week or ten days ago, remember really enjoying this and thinking it didn't need more time (but perhaps will last 5 - 8 more years)

August 4, 2018 - Beautiful nose of red berries, cherries, rose petal, and pencil shavings. Well integrated tannins adding a good structure on the palate. Flavored of strawberry, cherries, and orange peel. Good finish. Wife: 92
