March 11, 2018 - Fresh; crushed berries. Mostly black fruits with hints of red. Touch of tobacco. Light bodied but with a very solid core. I opened this because I thought it was headed over the hill. I think it still has a few more good years ahead of it.

February 15, 2018 - Double decanted for 1.5 hours. Nose of crushed raspberries, earth and beeswax. Lovely wine. In the mouth: raspberry fruit with mocha and good supporting tannin. Finally salty, briny, cured meat and iodine as the bottle was drunk; served with chicken cooked in white wine with potatoes and vegetables. Plenty of life left in this wine - say 7-8 years in the bottle. Excellent QPR. I am fortunate to have six left.
