July 4, 2022 - Maybe it was bottle variation but I was disappointed by this bottle. I opened it early and after an hour the aroma was enticing, but the flavor was a bit hollow, and the finish was astringent. Maybe VA, maybe just losing its stuff.

December 10, 2021 - Aroma seemed a bit muted at first, but this wine drank well, with satisfying, straightforward flavor, red-fruited, and a savory, slightly rustic finish. No hard edges, unlikely to improve with age, matched nicely with chicken and lentils. Satisfying rather than profound, but that seemed to align with the vintage and the terroir.
