March 30, 2020 - Hooray. This wine is in a drinking window.

Bourgogne isn't meant to be profound, nor would I consider it a quaffing wine, but it should be satisfying. This bottle was - solid, a good blend of red and medium dark fruit, tannins resolved.

    Rated +1 on a scale of -1 to +3.

March 11, 2015 - I was a bit hesitant to buy a Bourgogne for nearly $30. However, this is an absolutely stunning wine. This is my perfect entry level Burgundy. Full bodied despite being low alcohol, this has the fresh fruit and deep earth that makes Burgundy awesome.

  • IJC Likes this wine:

May 20, 2014 - Bright, fresh, young Burgundian pinot nose and taste - well balanced fruit and acid, tart mixed berry, faint trace of sous bois.
    Rated 1 on a scale of -1 to 3.

April 14, 2014 - A light bright ruby. Refreshing acidity balances bing cherry and pomegranate. 12% alcohol. Finishes clean and crisp, great with food, and fairly priced. Very versatile.

April 11, 2014 - Coca-Cola and a regal sense of Pinot on the nose. And the a lovely mid palate with huge succulence and tannin on the back. This is great wine.
